Tomorrow morning we head toward Panama, though we are not sure when exactly we will be there. Here is a list we have been keeping of our bus rides through South America. The number listed afterward is the number of hours the bus ride took. An asterisk indicates boat travel. a Plus sympol indicates train travel.

According to calculations in our head, this makes 387 hours on busses, a boat and a train to make it from Montevideo, Uruguay to Cartagena, Colombia.
With potentially Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Belize and Mexico to go, we look forward to lots more adventures, and more hours on public transportation.

Looks to me like a recipe for saddle sores or callouses of the gluteus maximus or some other similar ailment ......
Daddy
Reviewed more pictures and now realize that you now have a great resemblance to "Shaggy" on Scooby-Doo ..............
Have my passport and my Guatemala tickets, just need some shots now and we'll be good to go.
Travel safe.

Well it is lovely hearing about your collection of modes of transportation, but there is something missing here. What about the bus drivers? Did you ever have the same one more than once? Like, did one decide to jump fender and drive in another country?
AND...I take issue with your concerns that you are not being read. Why just in my own work church, we display your blogs on the big screen every Tuesday afternoon and Friday mornings and I have also seen them running steadily on some Cat busses. That is a little distracting, as reading a moving bus while driving in traffic can cause problems. Home church's new chapel is much in the same way a satellite does in outer space, reflecting them all over the city. You are being read and loved every day!
An asterisk notes when we have not heard from you

Donde esta??
I have finished reading the 'Tracy and Adam Epic' and these are things I really enjoyed:
1. The pictures of the people you have met along the way.
2. The food pictures.
3. The blog you had time to reflect on your past journeys.
I look forward to reading more in the days to come. Who needs Lonely Planet when we have Tracy and Adam.
